Warning: Contains SPOILERS for The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5, “Chapter 13: The Jedi.”

The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5, “Chapter 13: The Jedi” cast and characters include the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), who encounters Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda. Jon Favreau’s Star Wars show officially enters its second half, and with that, it also provides more information regarding the mystery surrounding the Child. The Mandalorian season 2, episode 4 shone a light on what Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) wants with Baby Yoda, and “The Jedi” reveals a significant part of his origins.

After getting the lead from Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) about Ahsoka, Din Djarin and Baby Yoda, whose name is Grogu, finally met the Jedi on the planet Corvus. However, Mando’s mission to reunite Baby Yoda with his people doesn’t end with their encounter with her. Ahsoka was hesitant in taking on the Child because of its attachment to Din; separating him from his father figure would’ve amplified his fear, which would’ve made him susceptible to fall to the dark side of the Force.
