Fireworks in Minecraft come in a variety of ways. This guide will show how players can craft them. Minecraft is the top-selling video game of all time with over 200 million copies sold since its release. The game also has over 126 active monthly players logging on to create and explore its massive world. Minecraft has always been about making your own adventure in this world where players are able to create anything they would like. From an outsider looking in, the game may seem boring and confusing without a purpose. Although, there is an infinite amount of things to do in the game and it’s all up to the player’s imagination. Fireworks were added to the game in the 1.15.2 update. Here’s how players can craft them.

The game was in a public alpha since 2009 but then officially released in November of 2011. The game has been brought over to every major console including the Nintendo Switch, several mobile devices, VR, and likely the next generation on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Mojang, the developer behind Minecraft was purchased by Microsoft back in 2014 for $2.5 million and is still readily available on almost every major hardware out there. Crafting is a huge part of the game as players can put together certain materials to make new ones like weapons, shovels, armor, and in this care, fireworks. Here’s how players can craft fireworks in Minecraft.

First, the player will need to make a crafting bench by putting together 4 pieces of wooden planks. These can be found by hitting wood from any tree in the world. Now, the player will need two things to create fireworks.

  • Paper: Can be crafted from 3 Sugar Cane. These can typically be found near beaches or bodies of water in the sand.
  • Gunpowder: The best place to find Gunpowder is by defeating Creepers. They typically drop Gunpowder to craft with.

Now, place the Paper above the Gunpowder on the crafting bench to create 3 Fireworks. Players can now light up the night sky with their fireworks. Recently, Steve and Alex from Minecraft have been made playable characters in the massive gaming crossover, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a DLC fighter. Alongside Joker from Persona 5 and Banjo Kazooie, Steve and Alex come along with their own move set to properly represent their origins in Minecraft. It’s a huge deal to see Microsoft-owned characters like Steve and Banjo Kazooie appear in a Nintendo title like this. It just goes to show how popular and requested these characters are.
